Thoughts and Faith

Hey ladies!

I just thought I would post about some things going on in my life lately. Being a highschooler I am faced with the stereotypical problems: insecurity, jealousy, and wanting to impress.

I am constantly surrounded by comparisons and the feeling of wanting to be prettier, funnier, etc. I don't think I am unattractive, but there is always a feeling of "wanting more". Through this, I have lost touch with God. I know this is not what he wants; he wants me to know I'm perfect in His eyes. God wants me to strive to further my relationship with Him, not to strive to change myself. Through constant prayer, I have started to get out of this rough patch.

I just wanted to share with you guys my feelings lately and my love for God. God puts you through rough times for you to see his greatness and his love for you. God will never leave you; he is always there. You just have to see that. Things here on earth aren't easy, but the ultimate prize of Jesus Christ is the goal. Things here on earth with fail you, but God will NEVER fail you. I have always depended on stability in my life to "cruise" through life until I met God. Things won't go smoothly in life but God will always put you back on track and fill your heart with joy and love for being here. Life is a precious gift, live it loving God. He sent His son to die for us, for He loved us so much.

Spring Essentials 2015

Hi everyone! Today I will be talking about my spring essentials for this season. This will include fashion and beauty items! I hope you enjoy!

White Converse- $55

These shoes go with everything and add a cute pop to any outfit! I love it with denim shorts and a tee!

Jack Rogers- $110

No words. Gold, neutral, perfect!

Lilly shift dress- $50 (Target or re-sale)-$100+ (retail) 

These are perfect with a pair of brown wedges! Let me know in the comments if you want to know my tricks for getting Lilly for cheap.

High waisted shorts- About $30

I got mine on etsy and they are perfect with my white converse!

Pink blush- $varies

I find that nyx blushes are amazing quality and add a glow! 

Nude lip gloss- $5

A nude lip gloss is perfect for the spring!

Moisturizer- $20

With more sun exposure, your skin needs more moisture!

Introduction Post!

Hi everyone!

Through seeing other blogs I have decided to make one myself. This is my first post and introduction of me!

My name is Amanda and I am a high school student caught up in all kinds of things and just want to add another thing on my plate! ;) My goal is to be able to keep this blog going even though I have a busy schedule. I hope to cover all things going on in life whether it be fashion, fun, or faith. I am a growing Christian and hope to be able to share my faith through weekly (as of now) posts about all things having to do with my walk with the Lord and how he has blessed my life. I love hanging out with friends and family. They are always there to encourage me and motivate me through life! I also hope to post about fashion. Through getting out of my crazy years of growing up and finding myself I have developed my style and hope to share it with you through hauls/ootd/wishlists! I would greatly appreciate anyone sharing my blog and giving me requests. As a starter, it is harder to stay motivated with only 2 views every once in a while.
